maintaining a ten percent differential between Beaudin's salary and the top salary range of <br /> department heads. The City agrees to reevaluate the salary after each performance evaluation. <br /> 5. Deferred Compensation. The City agrees to Beaudin's participation in a Deferred <br /> Compensation Plan. City shall contribute three percent(3%) annually to such a plan on <br /> Beaudin's account commencing in January 2024. The annual contribution shall be prorated on a <br /> monthly basis. <br /> 6. Benefits. Except as provided in this Contract, City shall provide the same <br /> benefits(e.g., medical, retirement medical insurance,dental, leave, holidays etc.)to Beaudin as <br /> City provides to other management employees as set forth in the City's <br /> Management/Confidential Employee Performance Compensation Plan 2018 (Management <br /> Compensation Plan) as the Management Compensation Plan. These policies may be modified by <br /> the City Council in the future. <br /> 7. Vacation Leave. Beaudin shall accrue vacation leave at the rate of twenty-five <br /> (25) days annually, to be administered as set forth in the Management Compensation Plan. <br /> 8. Administrative Leave. Beaudin shall be credited with ten(10) days of <br /> administrative leave annually,to be administered as provided in the Management Compensation <br /> Plan. <br /> 9. Vehicle/Cell Phone. Beaudin may select either a car allowance of$550 monthly <br /> or a vehicle furnished by City. Beaudin shall have the exclusive and unrestricted use of such <br /> vehicle for official business and limited personal use in accordance with rules for automobile <br /> usage. City shall insure and register such vehicle, and provide regular maintenance of the <br /> vehicle. City shall also provide Beaudin with the equipment(including a cell phone), <br /> technology, and associated service charges related to the use of this technology and equipment <br /> necessary for City business. <br /> 10. Professional Memberships, Conferences, and Development. City shall pay for <br /> Beaudin's professional membership in the International City/County Management Association, <br /> the California City Management Foundation, and the California League of Cities (Cal Cities). In <br /> addition, City shall pay for Beaudin to attend professional conferences of such organizations <br /> pursuant to the City's Travel Policy. City shall also pay for an executive coach of Beaudin's <br /> choosing with City Council approval, which shall be reevaluated during Beaudin's annual <br /> performance evaluation. <br /> 11. Performance Evaluation. The City Council shall meet annually (around August) <br /> in order to conduct a formal, facilitated,performance and salary evaluation. <br /> 12. Resi ng_ation. If Beaudin decides to terminate this Contract, Beaudin will provide <br /> City 30 days written notice. <br />
