The activation of emergency purchases requires a proclaimed local <br /> emergency/disaster. The City's normal purchasing procedure shall be modified <br /> to deal with the exigent circumstances while still maintaining an effective <br /> purchasing process and complying with applicable local and state purchasing <br /> laws. <br /> 12.MUTUAL AID/RESOURCE REQUEST <br /> Mutual Aid requests for Fire or Law Enforcement resources and personnel shall <br /> be made by the Police and Fire Department personnel assigned to the <br /> Operations Section, as directed by the Operations Section Chief. Requests for <br /> non-law and fire mutual aid shall be made from the EOC and sent to the <br /> Operational Area EOC. The City EOC shall be responsible for providing all <br /> logistical support to all mutual aid assisting the City of Pleasanton. The Fire and <br /> Police DOCs must coordinate mutual aid logistical support by communicating the <br /> status of all mutual aid requests to the EOC. <br /> 13.TRAINING <br /> In order to be fully prepared to assume designated roles in the event of an <br /> emergency that impacts the City, all employees should: <br /> a. Participate in and complete NIMS (National Incident Management System) <br /> training modules as directed; <br /> b. Participate in and complete SEMS (Standardized Emergency <br /> Management System) and personal preparedness training as directed; <br /> c. Identify any specific role assigned to them in the Emergency Operations <br /> Plan, Continuity of Operations Plan or other emergency plan including <br /> those for their specific department; and <br /> d. As assigned, participate in training and exercises that are designed to help <br /> employees complete their assigned role and function effectively as a <br /> Disaster Service Worker. <br /> 14.PRIMARY EOC LOCATION <br /> Pleasanton Police Department, 4833 Bernal Ave, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> 15.ALTERNATE EOC LOCATIONS <br /> 1.
