Over 400 community members <br />participated in strategic planning engagement activities . <br />Citywide Community Survey Summary <br />In addition, the results from a citywide community survey were reviewed . Over 700 Pleasanton residents <br />participated in the survey, in the form of telephone or online interviews . Overall, residents are largely satisfied with <br />life in Pleasanton, and with the provision of many City services and programs . However, there has been a decline in <br />the intensity of satisfaction on several key indicators since 2017, indicating areas where the City should focus its <br />efforts over the five-year strategic plan period . <br />Top service drivers for residents include public safety and emergency services, utilities and water supply, and <br />infrastructure and public facilities . Crime and public safety are key concerns, along with housing affordability, <br />particularly for young and lower-income residents . <br />COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SUMMARY <br />6
