<br /> Avenue 18-Inch Potable Main (F-4 Line) Project, CIP No. 24172, in the amount of
<br /> $121,216.
<br /> 3. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services
<br /> agreement with Mark Thomas & Company, Inc. for civil engineering services for the
<br /> design of 4,500 linear feet of 20-inch water main on Sunol Boulevard for the Sunol
<br /> Boulevard 20-Inch Potable Water Main (F-7 Line) Project, CIP No. 24173, in the
<br /> amount of$231,906.
<br /> 4. Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute contract amendment(s) for a
<br /> design project contingency amount of $100,000 (approximately 10 percent of the
<br /> design professional services agreements) for unforeseen yet necessary related
<br /> work.
<br /> 5. Transfer $180,426 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP
<br /> No. 23183, to the Turnout 4 Replacement and Booster Station and Stoneridge Drive
<br /> 24-Inch Potable Water Main (F-1 Line) Project, CIP No. 24171, to fund the design,
<br /> including contingency.
<br /> 6. Transfer $551,061 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP
<br /> No. 24183, to the Turnout 4 Replacement and Booster Station and Stoneridge Drive
<br /> 24-Inch Potable Water Main (F-1 Line) Project, CIP No. 24171, to fund the design,
<br /> including contingency.
<br /> 7. Transfer $133,000 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP
<br /> No. 24183, to the Bernal Avenue 18-Inch Potable Water Main (F-4 Line) Project, CIP
<br /> No. 24172, to fund the design, including contingency.
<br /> 8. Transfer $255,000 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP
<br /> No. 24183, to the Sunol Boulevard 20-Inch Potable Water Main (F-7 Line) Project,
<br /> CIP No. 24173, to fund the design, including contingency.
<br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT
<br /> The total design expenditures for the interim water improvements, including a 10
<br /> percent design contingency, is $1 ,119,487 and are recommended to be funded from
<br /> both Annual Water Distribution System Improvements Projects, CIP No. 23183 and CIP
<br /> No. 24183. The combined CIP funding provides $2 million; the total expenditures are
<br /> $1,939,060, which includes work performed by DPI, Inc., the Rain for Rent pump rental
<br /> and the design costs for the interim water improvements (see Attachment 1). Three new
<br /> CIP projects are recommended to be developed and funded as outlined in the
<br /> recommendations above. Due to the accelerated schedule to develop the scope of
<br /> work, a 10 percent design contingency for each professional design services agreement
