I did receive some further information,so I did adjust my message accordingly.
Pleasanton has lost its standing for best small city in California from 2nd in 2019 to 7th according to WalletHub.There
are many challenges due to State mandates, COVID,economic downturns which is still very much a threat today, but
every city has those challenges. This is why I am writing you today.
Review of your proposed budget for the next two years does not provide for any setbacks in our economy. Prudent
spending on the "must haves" must be included in your budget.
Affordability, 2) Economic Health, 3) Education & Health, 4) Quality of Life and 5) Safety should be
priorities for the City of Pleasanton and its residents, not individual or small group priorities or desires.
I ask that you step back and look at the bigger picture for the next two years and beyond. Also, look at the
' -,:ity of Pleasanton as a whole, not just areas within the City. The City has the obligation to provide ALL its
citizens the basics first.
As Pleasanton continues to grow by population, it must have the proper infrastructure for its citizens:
1
