The dissimilarity index at the jurisdiction level can be <br />interpreted as the share of one group that would have to move neighborhoods to create perfect <br />integration for these two groups. <br />• The dissimilarity index ranges from 0 to 1. Higher values indicate that groups are more <br />unevenly distributed (e.g. they tend to live in different neighborhoods).
