California is one of the most economically unequal states in the nation, <br />and the Bay Area has the highest income inequality between high- and low-income households in <br />the state. Pleasanton has a higher income population than Alameda County. Pleasanton’s 2019 <br />median household income was $156,400 which is 57 percent higher than the County's ($99,406). <br />Pleasanton also has a higher median household income than the Tri-Valley Region where the <br />median household income is $149,064.
