AS NEEDED SERVICES/REPAIRS <br /> Hourly Rates to be utilized for the following Services: <br /> Extended Maintenance <br /> Once every 50,000 hours of service (five years)each pump must be removed from service and <br /> sent to an approved pump/motor rebuilder for a complete inspection and maintenance. This <br /> maintenance is normally scheduled for two weeks. <br /> Once every five years of service each of the High Rate Sand Filter Backwash Valves will be <br /> rebuilt and all wearable parts replaced. The last date of rebuild is listed on the valve body for <br /> each pool. <br /> Once every two years of service the anti-syphon valves for all chemical injection pumps will be <br /> rebuilt with OEM parts. <br /> Yearly, all oils in the Neptune chemical injection pumps will be changed with manufacturer <br /> recommended oil. <br /> Water Slide Repairs <br /> All spider cracks, chips, nicks or gouges shall be repaired following the manufacturers <br /> recommendations.All seams shall be sealed as needed to prevent leaks. Any and all work shall <br /> be recorded in the Operations Log Book for the Shallow Pool <br /> MISCELLANOUS PROVISIONS: <br /> HOURS OF SERVICE <br /> All services shall be rendered at times that will not interfere with the normal operations, special <br /> events, or alternate shifts of the building being serviced. Coordination will need to take place <br /> with Recreation Aquatic Staff and Support Services Division. <br /> MATERIALS <br /> Contractor's employees will be responsible from removing and disposing of any construction <br /> waste. Debris and trash shall be removed at the end of each day's work. There shall be no <br /> additional charges to the City for removal and/or disposal of materials. All defective materials <br /> shall be removed in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, codes, law, ordinances, <br /> statues, etc. <br /> SAFETY TRAINING/PROCEDURES <br /> Contractor must provide a copy of its safety training program that includes, but are not limited <br /> to, training staff on hazardous material, Safety Data Sheets, safety procedures, and safe work <br /> practices. This is required before Contractor can begin performing its services. <br />
