pool will need to be closed for the service so this work can only be done on non-scheduled <br /> use time. <br /> Underwater Lighting - Weekly <br /> Once a week all GFCI's for underwater lighting will be operationally tested and the results noted <br /> on the GFCI Log Sheet for the affected pool.All breakers will be reset at the end of the test. <br /> Preventive/Mechanical Maintenance - Monthly <br /> The contractor shall submit a preventative maintenance plan based on the Support Services <br /> Divisions Best Practices and any corrections to the mechanical systems shall be approved by the <br /> Support Services Division before work is commenced. <br /> Monthly, all water filters that service the Becsys Controller shall be removed from service and <br /> thoroughly cleaned. <br /> The Becsys ORP and pH sensor probes from all controllers will be removed from service and <br /> cleaned with a mild detergent, per manufacture's standard. This to include the two Becsys flow <br /> cells and filters. <br /> The injection points/fittings and chemical tubing for Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrochloric <br /> Acid will be cleaned monthly on all pools. <br /> Monthly,all backwash valves will be lubed and rebuilt as need per manufactures standards. For <br /> all parts that need to be replaced they will be re-imbursed with the percentage mark up that is <br /> submitted with the bid proposal. <br /> Water Slide Maintenance—Bi-Annually <br /> The City owns and operates a White Water Slide in the Shallow Pool. The slide has one 10 hp <br /> Paco pump in a vault at the bottom of the slide. The water flow as indicated by a flow meter on <br /> the side of the supply piping shall always be 800 gallons per minute per manufacture's <br /> recommendations. <br /> The slide flume shall be visually inspected daily during scheduled use days and the results <br /> logged in the water slide inspection Logbook. <br /> Bi-Annually, the entire length of the water slide shall be deoxidized and waxed with an approved <br /> process and materials. <br />
