MGT contracted with the City of Oregon City(OR)to conduct a comprehensive DEI assessment
of City operations and practices and the impact of City staff and on the city's residents. Our
work entailed surveying staff, leading focus groups, and creating and facilitating a Community
DEI Task Force. The findings of the assessment are used to inform the collaborative
development of a multi-year DEI strategic plan.
* The Utah Office of Tourism hired MGT to conduct an internal equity assessment of the
organization which included a pay audit equity. Throughout the partnership, MGT staff
facilitated DEI-related training to the Board of directors, staff, and at the annual Utah Tourism
Conference.
MGT collected, compiled, and analyzed data from Florida's State University System (SUS)
related to race and gender of students, faculty, and staff that was used to shape policy
designed to increase diversity in SUS institutions. We also provided training and professional
development to the system's diversity and inclusion officers.
* MGT conducted a national study for the Virginia Council of Higher Education to increase the
diversity of graduate students, faculty, and staff.
MGT's work with the City of Battle Creek(Ml) was grounded in an equity audit of the human
resource and police department policies and practices that to inform the development of a DEI
Action Plan with the intention of improving the City's culture and outcomes related to DEI.
MGT conducted an audit for the Center of Creative Leadership program offerings. The work
we have provided so far including a DEI toolkit and program redesign recommendations has
been used to enhance DEI content and delivery within CCL's leadership programs which serves
more than 100,000 participants each year in more than 10 countries.
Johnson County Community College I DEI Audit,Training, and Strategic Planning
MGT completed a DEI organizational assessment of JCCC to transform academic and administrative
policies and practices to ensure going forward JCCC's work environment and learning environment align
with JCCC's DEI philosophy and principles. The goal was to embed DEI in JCCC's institutional DNA so that
JCCC operates in a DEI sensitive and compliant manner and is not viewed as a special initiative or
something that is "imposed" upon the campus community.
We provided DEI training that was flexible, adaptable, and focused on enhancing learning in a comfortable
and engaging environment where participants were able to practice, share, and engage in case studies,
role playing, and brainstorming scenarios. The school community was engaged in assessment, training,
and other activities to provide a blueprint and road map for JCCC's DEI transformation.
City of New York I DEI Audit of Procurement Disparities
The NYC disparity study was one of the largest disparity studies that has ever been conducted, reviewing
$87,269,054,086 worth of procurement contracts. MGT conducted a variety of community engagement
activities in all five boroughs extensively using social and traditional media to drive participation that was
representative of the City's vendor community. With over 6,000 vendors contributing directly,we secured
sufficient statistical evidence to demonstrate disparities in contracting practices.
♦.s*s MGT PAGE 4
