Information regarding the methane reduction benefits of reducing the Disposal of Organic 2419 <br />Waste, and the method(s) that the Contractor uses to recover Organic Waste. 2420 <br />4. Information regarding how to recover Source Separated Recyclable Materials and Organic 2421 <br />Waste, and a list of haulers approved by the City. 2422 <br />5. Information related to the public health and safety and environmental impacts associated with 2423 <br />the Disposal of Organic Waste. 2424 <br />6. If requested by the City, information regarding the City’s Edible Food Recovery programs; 2425 <br />7. Information regarding Self-Hauling requirements. 2426 <br />8. Any other federal, State, or local requirements to properly separate Discarded Materials or 2427 <br />other necessary actions by Generators, including applicable requirements of the Municipal 2428 <br />Code, AB 341, AB 1826, SB 1383, and other Applicable Law. 2429 <br />B. Education Materials for Property and Business Owners and Tenants. Contractor shall, not less than 2430 <br />annually, provide Property Owners and Commercial Business Owners with public education 2431 <br />materials for their distribution to all employees, contractors, tenants, and Customers of the 2432 <br />properties and businesses. The Contractor’s public education materials shall include, at a minimum, 2433 <br />information about Organic Waste recovery requirements and proper sorting of Discarded Materials, 2434 <br />and shall reflect content requirements described above. A Commercial Business or Multi-Family 2435 <br />Property Owner may request these materials more frequently than the standard annual provision 2436 <br />if needed to comply with the requirement of 14 CCR Section 18984.10 for Commercial Businesses 2437 <br />and Multi-Family Property Owners to provide educational information to new tenants and 2438 <br />employees before or within fourteen (14) days of occupation of the Premises. In this case, the 2439 <br />Commercial Business or Multi-Family Property Owner may request delivery of materials by 2440 <br />contacting the Contractor’s customer service department not later than two (2) weeks in advance 2441 <br />of the date that the materials are needed. 2442 <br />C. Commercial Edible Food Generators. Upon City request, Contractor shall support City in 2443 <br />distributing educational materials developed by the City or its designee, such as StopWaste, 2444 <br />regarding Edible Food Recovery to Commercial Customers that are Commercial Edible Food 2445 <br />Generators. The Contractor’s website shall include a link to the City’s webpage regarding Edible 2446 <br />Food Recovery programs. 2447 <br />D. Non-Compliance Education. Contractor shall provide educational materials to non-compliant 2448 <br />entities under this Agreement, as further described in Section 6.9.B and Exhibit B. 2449
