After Contractor performs site visits for these large-volume Customers, Contractor shall 2379 <br />continue to provide support to each Customer as requested and shall periodically contact the Customer 2380 <br />to offer technical assistance and answer questions. 2381 <br />Contractor shall, by July 15 of each year, submit to the City a list of the Commercial Customers it proposes 2382 <br />to audit during the Rate Period to comply with the twenty percent (20%) audit requirement and include 2383 <br />justification for selection of the Commercial Customers. Commercial Customers shall be selected so that 2384 <br />one hundred percent (100%) of the Commercial Customers are audited during a five (5) year period so 2385 <br />that each Business is audited once every five (5) years. City shall review the list and provide comments to 2386 <br />the Contractor within ten (10) Business Days of receipt. In the event the City does not provide a response 2387 <br />to the Contractor, the proposed list of Commercial Customers shall be considered acceptable to the City. 2388 <br />Audits shall include, but are not limited to a Solid Waste, Recyclables, Organic Materials, Diversion, and 2389 <br />source reduction analysis; research of markets for specialized materials generated by the Customer; and 2390 <br />assistance in internal Collection and training efforts. 2391 <br />During site visits and through quarterly newsletters and other public outreach efforts, Contractor shall 2392 <br />offer employee training sessions to Commercial Customers at the Customer’s Premises to educate 2393 <br />employees about the Recycling and Organics Collection programs and answer employee questions. 2394 <br />Contractor shall provide the employee training sessions upon Customer request. 2395 <br />Contractor shall document each site visit using a form approved by the City identifying the name and 2396 <br />address of the Premises, type of Commercial business, date of the visit, name of property 2397 <br />manager/property contact and contact information, current Recyclable Materials and Organic Materials 2398 <br />Service Levels, property manager concerns and requests, training (if any) provided to Customer and/or 2399 <br />employees, and actions items. Audit forms shall be provided to the City in accordance with Section 2400 <br />6.3.3.H. 2401 <br />Contractor shall provide one half (0.5) full-time Recycling coordinator to provide Commercial technical 2402 <br />assistance services. 2403 <br />5.17.7 SB 1383 Education and Outreach 2404 <br />A. Annual Notice of Requirements. Not less than once per year, Contractor shall prepare and 2405 <br />distribute to each Generator in the City a mailer that includes information specified in 14 CCR 2406 <br />Section 18985.1(a). Such mailer shall be distributed by Contractor to all Single-Family, Multi-Family, 2407 <br />and Commercial mailing addresses including individual Multi-Family Dwelling Units. Contractor shall 2408 <br />also make this notice available in an electronic format through the Contractor’s website. This 2409 <br />information shall, at a minimum, include: 2410 <br />1. Information on the Generator’s requirements to properly separate Source Separated Recyclable 2411 <br />Materials, Organic Materials, and Solid Waste, and place such materials in appropriate 2412 <br />Containers pursuant to this Agreement, SB 1383 Regulations, and all other Applicable Law. 2413 <br />2. Information on methods for the prevention of Organic Waste and Recyclable Materials 2414 <br />generation; managing Organic Waste on Generator’s Premises through composting or other 2415 <br />Landfill Disposal reduction activities allowed under 14 CCR Sections 18983.1 and 18983.2; 2416
