Containers shall have bodies and lids in uniform colors that differentiate the different 2211 <br />material types to be Collected, in accordance with Section 5.16.7, and such plans shall be approved by the 2212 <br />City. On and after January 1, 2022, all new or replacement Containers shall comply with the color and 2213 <br />labeling requirements of Section 5.16.7. Notwithstanding this Section, the Contractor is not required to 2214 <br />replace functional Containers, including Containers purchased prior to January 1, 2022, that do not comply 2215 <br />with the color requirements of Section 5.16.7 prior to the end of the useful life of those Containers, or 2216 <br />prior to January 1, 2036, whichever comes first. 2217 <br />As described in Section 5.4.1.C, the kitchen pail shall be made of rigid plastic, and have a capacity of 1.5 2218 <br />to 2.5 gallons, a wire or plastic handle, and a lid. Contractor must submit kitchen pail order (including 2219 <br />material and design specifications, colors, and identification marks) to City for City’s written approval prior 2220 <br />to submitting the order to the manufacturer. 2221 <br />5.16.6 Container Sizes 2222 <br />Below is a table that summarizes the Container size specifications. Labels. On each Container, Contractor shall label with paint, adhesive label, or white, hot-stamped 2228 <br />lettering, with text and/or graphic images indicating the type of materials (e.g., Solid Waste, 2229
