and growth of a cricket program within the city. Maybe some of the open grass area
at Patelco park would be a more compatible location. Also, one of the fields at the
Sports Park cannot be remade as a cricket court? I don't ever see all the baseball
fields at the sports park ever being used to anymore where this cannot be a central
location for a new cricket field.
The Pleasanton city council needs to uphold their promises to the community and the
integrity of our town. Craming a cricket field which needs alot of area onto a small
local neighborhood park is selfish on the councils part.
The Police department should have to conduct a traffic survey to the local residents
before this topic is discussed any furher. I can tell you, I see at least 4 cars a week
blow through the stop sign at Hillview Court without even yielding. This is an terrible
accident waiting to happen and if it does the city should be held liable.
Please use common sense and do not sell out our city like Dublin has to its citizens.
Put citizens quality of life ahead of that of an organization that wants to pay $$$$$ to
use our precious parks.
You all were voted in to withhold the standards and priorities of our community. This
is not one of them.
I strongly urge this matter to be taken out of consideration and a more appropriate
location deemed home to the cricket court.
Our children and grandchildren in this area need a safe place to play, take their dogs
to the dog park, play tennis, have a picnic, play volleyball, practice yoga, play at the
playground.......
Thank you for your consideration,
Sta Bennett .
Click 1= to report this email as spam_
