City of Pleasanton–Spotorno Ranch Reduced Development Project <br />Initial Study/Consistency Checklist Environmental Checklist <br /> <br /> <br />FirstCarbon Solutions 53 <br />https://adecinnovations.sharepoint.com/sites/PublicationsSite/Shared Documents/Publications/Client (PN-JN)/2148/21480021/Consistency Checklist/21480021 Spotorno Ranch Consistency Checklist ScreenCheck.docx <br />FEIR Mitigation Measures <br />The following site development standards and design guidelines address the visual quality of <br />development that is permitted by the HVSP and were adopted as mitigation measures as part of the <br />1998 HVSP FEIR (Appendix A). <br />MM L4 PUD–Semi-Rural Density Residential District (Greater Happy Valley). <br />Site development standards in the Specific Plan establish protection for view <br />corridors applicable to Lots 98, 99, and 100 and other lots near Lot 98. <br />Design guidelines include the objective of minimizing the visual prominence of <br />homes; guidelines include requirements applicable to grading, architecture, and <br />landscaping. <br />MM L6 PUD–Open Space. <br />Design guidelines specify that new structures should be sited to minimize their <br />visibility from the vicinity of the Happy Valley Loop roads and that grading for <br />development of hilly areas shall respect natural landforms. <br />Conclusion <br />No new significant impacts related to aesthetics would occur. The conclusions from the 1998 HVSP <br />FEIR remain unchanged.
