City of Pleasanton–Spotorno Ranch Reduced Development Project
CEQA Guidelines Sections 15182 and 15183 Initial Study/Consistency Checklist

46 FirstCarbon Solutions
https://adecinnovations.sharepoint.com/sites/PublicationsSite/Shared Documents/Publications/Client (PN-JN)/2148/21480021/Consistency Checklist/21480021 Spotorno Ranch Consistency Checklist ScreenCheck.docx
(d)(1)(C) The project is consistent with the City of Pleasanton General Plan.
The City’s General Plan designates the 33 acres of the Spotorno Flat Area as Low Density Residential-
Public Health and Safety. A 2-acre portion of the 33-acre Spotorno Flat Area is located in a fault zone
setback related to the Verona Fault, and is undevelopable but is counted toward the allowed density
of the site. The remaining 31 acres, designated Low Density Residential, is proposed to be developed
at a density of one dwelling unit per 1.5 acres, resulting in 22 single-family residences each with an
ADU.
(d)(2) An EIR was certified by the lead agency for the zoning action, the
community plan, or the general plan.
The City of Pleasanton certified the 1998 HVSP FEIR, which evaluated the zoning action for the site
as identified in the Specific Plan.
