100%Submittal Coordination
We are requesting a budget increase of 30 hours to capture additional City staff requested
coordination efforts included with the 65% submittal package and finalize the pump station
design with JES. The 65% plans submittal will be carried to 100% completion. Appropriate
modifications will be made to the plans, details, and included with the cost estimate.
Task 1.2.1—Package Pump Station Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical Design
PCG's electrical subconsultant, TJC and Associates, Inc. (Tic), will prepare the plans and
specifications for instrumentation, controls, and electrical (ICE) engineering design for the
proposed package pump station to be located west of Field Nos. 1 and 3.
Project Understanding
TIC will provide assistance for ICE related design services to prepare design documents and
provide technical assistance for new electrical distribution for the two proposed small package
pump station locations to convey excess irrigation water to the on-site sanitary sewer system, as
well as a control system that incorporates a rain sensor to reduce stormwater flows to the
sanitary sewer system.
Develop design documents suitable for public bidding to provide new electrical distribution at
the proposed package pump station to be located west of Field Nos. 1 and 3. Electrical design
elements include:
• Drawings, specifications, and installation details
• Submittal documents at the 90%, and Final stamped and sealed stages.
• Electrical load calculations as required for specifying equipment
• An opinion of probable cost prepared with each design stage submittal
Assumptions
• All equipment specified shall be low voltage and low power, suitable for operation under
a 120VAC, single phase service.
• Existing 120VAC, single phase power is assumed available via a spare breaker from nearby
power pedestals for the new pumps and control panels.
• Provide new rain sensors and motor starter/control panels for automated operation of
the pumps.
• Emergency power, security and intrusion monitoring, and remote monitoring (e.g.,
SCADA) are not required.
• Site visit will not be required. PCG to verify, confirm, and provide appropriate
photographs to confirm supply circuit availability, and existing site conditions for
establishing motor starter/control panel location.
• Site lighting design and Title 24 energy calculations and compliance forms for permitting
at the Building Department will not be required.
• TIC standard electrical Technical Specifications using CSI Division 16 format shall be used
as applicable.
January 5,2022—Page 2
Saklaen—Addendum No.1 Budget Increase Val Vista Park Underdrain System
PM";
