For these above described areas, in addition to the utilities and cross section
surveys described above, LCC will perform additional supplemental survey and
mapping services which will also include surveying above ground structures,
buildings, fences, trees (larger than 6”), walls, sidewalks, curbs, edge of travelled
ways or pavement areas, geotechnical boreholes (if present), grade breaks, top and
toe of slopes, contours and spot elevations which are sufficient for design purposes,
as determined by the client and agreed upon by LCC.

The data collected during the ground surveys will be incorporated into the aerial
planimetric mapping, unless requested otherwise.

Survey work will include opening and “dipping” sewer and storm drain structures in
order to obtain invert elevations, and approximate pipe sizes and general directions
will be noted.

LCC’s selected professional Traffic Control Firm (TCF) will provide traffic controls
for manhole locations which are to be “dipped”. For each of the manholes located
within the limits of work, Traffic Controls will be provided by the TCF while our
survey crew takes measurements at the manholes. Controls will include the
following:
• encroachment permit application will be prepared and submitted to the City
(assume no-fee permit)
• lane closures
• signage
• flagman
• truck with traffic diversion lighting

Traffic Controls for manhole “dipping” are expected to take 1-2 consecutive days,
barring rain delays, to complete.

TASK 1.4 – UTILITY RESEARCH AND MAPPING
LCC will send project notices to the various utility agencies requesting base maps of
their facilities on or adjacent to the proposed study alignments. We will incorporate
their record information into our topographic base map. However, note that utilities
will be shown as approximate location per surface utility structures found and
information provided by each agency. No underground locating work or potholing is
included in this proposal. LCC will attend meetings with Client and affected cities,
municipalities, agencies, and utility owners, to discuss the alignments shown
(assume up to 4 – 2 hour meetings).

TASK 1.5 – ROW MAPPING (For Well Sites 5, 6, & 10 Only)
For the “Detailed Supplemental Survey” areas described in Task 1.3 above as
“Existing Well 5 (to be abandoned) and parking lot area to the north, in addition to
New Well 10 and Existing Well 6.

LCC will obtain record maps from the County and research records as necessary to
determine the property lines adjacent to these areas. LCC will search for existing
monuments of record as sufficient to establish the property lines and existing
