NOVEMBER 2021 | 12 Task 9.0 – Outside Agency Permit Applications and Reviews Carollo will coordinate and prepare the outside agency permits listed below under this task. Carollo will incorporate requirements of each permit into the design of the project. Task 9.1 – Division of Drinking Water Permitting for CTF The City’s Domestic Water Supply permit will require an amendment to include the PFAS Centralized Treatment Facility (CTF). This task includes up to three (3) meetings with DDW Project Manager to discuss and coordinate permit amendment requirements. The following submittals are anticipated as part of the permitting effort: · PFAS Bench Test Plan · Technical Report (including Operations Plan and Operator Certification Requirements) · 95 percent Engineering Plans and Specifications · DWS Permit Amendment Application Form Task 9.2 – Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (Zone 7 Water Agency) and DDW Permit Applications for Wells 9 and 10 LSCE will prepare the required DDW submittal for Wells 9 and 10. The detailed scope of work for this task is included in Attachment E Task 9.2.A. Zone 7 is the administrative agency for Alameda County’s Water Well Ordinance. LSCE will prepare permit applications (including related engineering reports) for new Wells 9 and 10. The detailed scope of work for this task is included in Attachment E Task 9.2.B. Task 9.3 – Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) Permit Applications Carollo will prepare engine permit applications/registrations for permanent and portable generators to be obtained for the project. Task 9.4 – Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Service Applications Pezzoni Engineering will prepare the electrical power service applications for Well 9, Well 10, and Well 8/CTF. The service applications will be submitted when we begin 95 percent design. Task 9.5 – Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) Coordination – Alisal Elementary The City will lead discussions and negotiations with PUSD to summarize the project, potential construction impacts, construction sequencing, and potential temporary construction easements at Alisal Elementary School. Carollo will support the City in discussions with PUSD and provide technical information related to the project for construction of facilities at both school sites. Carollo will incorporate requirements into the design. Task 9.6 – Permit to Abandon Wells 3, 4, 5 and 6 LSCE will prepare the Zone 7 Water Agency permit applications for destruction of Wells 3, 4, 5 and 6. The detailed scope of work for this task is included in Attachment E Task 9.6.
