consensus. Commissioner Gaidos concurred with Commissioner Allen. He stated he felt it was a great gateway project to the City. Commissioner Nibert concurred that it was a terrific project for the community, the church and the neighbors. Commissioner Pace discussed the power of symbols and representation of inclusivity in the community and indicated support for the project. Commissioner Morgan stated he thought the project was a good fit for the location and met the diverse interests of the community. Commissioner Pace moved to recommend approval of the project and related applications for Cases PUD-114-01M, P20-0995 and P20-0994 and 1) find anticipated environmental impacts of the proposed development are adequately evaluated in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report prepared for the 2011 Housing Element update and none of the conditions in CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 calling for preparation of subsequent environmental review have occurred; 2) make PUD and CUP findings for the proposed development plan as listed in agenda report; and 3) adopt resolutions recommending approval of the Planned Unit Development (PUD-114-01M), Minor Subdivision (P20-0995), and Conditional Use Permit (P20-0994) to construct and operate the Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church within a 9,792-square-foot church and 24,971-square-foot multi-purpose building with gymnasium on a 4.3-acre portion of the 16-acre Pleasant View Church of Christ site, subject to Resolution and conditions of approval listed in Exhibits Al and A2, and forward the application to the City Council for public review and hearing.
