B. Safety Plans and Programs-Assist in the development of new site-specific programs, procedures, and protocols. B.1 Provide assessments, development, and updates to the OSD Occupational Health and Safety Program which includes,but is not limited to the following written safety plans: • Bloodborne Pathogens • Chemical Hygiene Plan • Concrete and Silica Dust Exposure Control Plan • Confined Space Entry Plan • COVID-19 Safety Plan • Electrical Safety Plan • Emergency Action Plan • Ergonomics Program • Excavation and Trenching Plan • Exposure Control Plan(Bloodborne Pathogens) • Fall Protection Program • Hazard Communication Program • Hazardous Energy Control Program(Lockout/Tagout) • Hearing Conservation Program • Heat Illness Prevention Program • Hot Work Program • New Employee Safety Orientation • Personal Protective Equipment Guidelines • Respiratory Protection Program B.2 Contractor Safety- Create a contractor safety program that can be used for routine,yearly and capital improvement contractor work. Include work under emergency conditions such as COVID-19, Wildfire Smoke, etc. C. Hazard Assessment-Perform periodic site visits and provide recommendations for hazard abatement. All recommendations will be provided in writing to designated personnel. D. Inspections -Assist with worksite inspections and accident/incident investigations as needed. E. Meetings-Participate, if requested, in informal conferences as well as other meetings or conferences involving health and safety as needed. F. Industrial hygiene-Provide assessments and monitoring as needed. Contractor shall provide qualified individuals with all necessary equipment to conduct appropriate testing and monitoring, including all associated lab work. • Examples include but are not limited to: Air monitoring and noise exposure assessments.
