Exhibit A <br /> Scope of Work <br /> The Operations Services Department(OSD)is comprised of 7 divisions that provide a wide range of <br /> maintenance and repair services for City owned assets. The OSD must meet compliance with both <br /> General and Construction Industry requirements under the California Code of Regulations, Title 8. <br /> Services may include work in the following areas: <br /> • Building maintenance <br /> • Carpentry work <br /> • Commercial vehicle operation <br /> • Confined space work(Water, Sanitary and Storm Sewer) <br /> • Disaster Response (Flooding, debris removal, etc.) <br /> • Electrical work(low and high voltage) <br /> • Environmental health services <br /> • Excavation work(Water, Sanitary and Storm Sewer) <br /> • Heavy equipment operation <br /> • Hot Work <br /> • Landscape maintenance and tree work <br /> • Machining <br /> • Plumbing work <br /> • Sidewalk and concrete work <br /> • Street paving,marking and signage. <br /> • Temporary Traffic Control <br /> • Vehicle maintenance <br /> A. Safety Training-Provide virtual and practical staff training for the OSD Occupational Health <br /> and Safety Program. <br /> A.1 Provide a Learning Management System that allows employees to work <br /> independently to complete required safety courses. The system should provide a means <br /> for testing the participant's knowledge,providing a certificate of completion, and <br /> administrative access to reporting. <br /> A.2 Provide practical onsite (in-person) training as needed. Contractor shall provide all <br /> necessary materials to deliver the training. <br /> A.3 Provide a solution for Toolbox/Tailgate Safety Sessions for General and <br /> Construction Industry topics that includes a division specific schedule to be completed <br /> every 10 working days. <br /> 6IPage <br />
