Task 8. Project Management <br /> Task 8.1 Project Management LWC will maintain a close working relationship with the City, through open and <br /> regularly scheduled videoconferences and communication via email and phone as needed. LWC will provide <br /> progress reports and memos at various project stages as necessary to communicate updates and/or technical <br /> information, in addition to itemized tracking for project billing and invoicing. LWC will also maintain the project <br /> schedule and distribute to the team throughout the process. This task also includes LWC's coordination not <br /> included in other tasks; obtaining needed documents and data; and ensuring compliance with pertinent legislation <br /> not included in other tasks. Invoices shall comply with format necessary for the City to submit for reimbursement <br /> from the State for SB 2 or other grant funds. <br /> Task 8.2: Coordination with HCD LWC anticipates engaging with HCD staff early in the sites selection process, to <br /> ensure the sites inventory will meet State law requirements, and incorporate appropriate assumptions with respect <br /> to development capacity of high density sites, in particular. LWC will work closely with the Alameda County HCD <br /> Liaison throughout the process with routine check-ins if necessary to make sure that the PRD presented to HCD <br /> has been preliminarily vetted and is ready for certification. <br /> Task 8.3: Coordination with CEQA Consultant Although the City will engage a separate CEQA consultant to <br /> prepare, post, and file all the appropriate environmental documents for compliance with the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act(CEQA), including an Environmental Impact Report, LCW will assist in coordination with <br /> the City and the CEQA consultant in identifying potential Housing Element sites, and to collaborate to prepare a <br /> Notice of Preparation (NOP) that will identify the project location and provide a summary of the project <br /> characteristics, and list probable environmental effects. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Progress reports (Word) <br /> 8 <br />
