Attachment 2 <br /> Manager will have overall responsibility for the services delivered under the AGREEMENT. <br /> The Project Manager may designate an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day service <br /> delivery functions. The Project Manager, or a backup staff person with the authority to make <br /> decisions, must be available in person or by telephone to make decisions at any time during <br /> operational hours. The CONTRACTOR must notify the CITY immediately if the Project <br /> Manager is replaced. Should a replacement be necessary, the CONTRACTOR must identify a <br /> qualified interim Project Manager who will serve until such time that the Project Manager is <br /> permanently replaced. <br /> Reservation Agents and Dispatchers <br /> The CONTRACTOR must provide sufficient reservation agents and dispatchers to book trip <br /> reservation requests, and to schedule and dispatch service vehicles. Project staff must be <br /> adequately trained for their tasks; must be sensitive to the special needs of older adults and <br /> persons with disabilities; and must exhibit professionalism, patience and compassion when <br /> working with program participants. <br /> Training Manager <br /> The CONTRACTOR must designate and provide the services of a Training Manager who will <br /> oversee the Road Supervisors and be responsible for the training of vehicle operators <br /> Vehicle Operators <br /> The CONTRACTOR must obtain and review the driving record of all vehicle operators prior to <br /> their providing service under the AGREEMENT and take steps to assure that said persons do <br /> not pose a threat to those served under the AGREEMENT or to public safety in general. Vehicle <br /> operators must have a valid California driver's license of the appropriate classification for the <br /> vehicle type to be driven, as well as any other licenses or certifications required by applicable <br /> federal, state or local regulations. The CONTRACTOR must also comply with the requirements <br /> of the Drug Free Work Place Act of 1988 and U.S. Department of Transportation drug testing <br /> regulations to the extent that they are legally enforceable. <br /> CONTRACTOR's vehicle operators must provide assistance to passengers when necessary to <br /> help them safely get from their doorway, into and out of the vehicle, and to negotiate stairs, <br /> ramps,inclines,doors and other obstacles that may be in their way as they approach the doorway <br /> of their destination. To ensure rider safety, CONTRACTOR's drivers are required to get out of <br /> their vehicles and offer assistance to all passengers boarding and disembarking from the vehicle. <br /> In the event that the passenger does not require assistance, the driver will still be required to <br /> stand at the base of the vehicle steps while the passenger boards and disembarks the vehicle. <br /> Drivers will provide assistance to passengers who need help securing their seat belt and will <br /> ensure that wheelchairs and other mobility devices are properly secured on the vehicle. When <br /> securing a wheelchair passenger, a four-point securement is mandated. Driver must operate the <br /> vehicle lift for wheelchair riders and ambulatory riders that request the lift to board and <br /> disembark. All passengers are mandated to wear a seatbelt while vehicle is in motion. When <br /> needed, drivers will carry up to three bags of groceries or similarly sized packages to or from <br /> the vehicle.Additional special assistance may be required of the driver dependent on a particular <br /> rider's disability. <br /> 7IPage <br />
