Ordinance 1903 Page 4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 20.08 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 20.08.010, unchanged. Section 20.08.012 Deletions. The following provisions of the Un/form Building Code are deleted: Division III of Appendix Chapter 3; Appendix Chapter 13; Appendix Chapter 21; Division V of Appendix Chapter 22; Appendix Chapter 23; and Divisions I and II of Appendix Chapter 34. Section 20.08.013 - 20.08.119, unchanged. Section 20.08.120. Division III of Appendix Chapter 34. The following sections of Division III (Repairs to Buildings and Structures Damaged by the Occurrence of a Natural Disaster) of Appendix Chapter 34 of the California Building Standards Code 2001 Edition (24 CCR), and including by reference the Uniform Building Code, are adopted: Section 3419 - Purpose; Section 3420 - General; and Section 3422 - Nonstmctural Repairs to Light Fixtures and Suspended Ceilings. Section 20.08.121 Structural Repairs. Section 3421 (Structural Repairs) of Division III (Repairs to Buildings and Structures Damaged by the Occurrence of a Natural Disaster) of Appendix Chapter 34 of the California Building Standards Code 2001 Edition (24 CCR), and including by reference the Uniform Building Code, is adopted as follows: When the damage ratio does not exceed 0.10 (10 percent), buildings and structures, except essential service facilities included as Category I buildings and structures in Table 16-K, shall at a minimum be restored to their pre-event condition.
