Regulation of Certain Businesses <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to carry on or <br /> engage in the business of a pawn shop, motel, auto <br /> wrecker, private investigator, private patrol service, <br /> security alarm service, legal card table, exhibition or <br /> entertainment event, carnival, or circus in the City of <br /> Pleasanton, unless such person first applies for and <br /> obtains a permit so to do from the Chief of Police of <br /> the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 4. Application for Permit: Procedure: Requirements <br /> <br /> An application for a permit required by Section 2 or 3 <br /> of this ordinance shall contain the following informatiDn <br /> and comply with the following requirements: <br /> <br /> (a) The name of the applicant. <br /> <br /> (b) The permanent home address and full local <br /> address of the applicant. <br /> <br /> (c) A brief description of the nature of the busi- <br /> ness and the goods to be sold. <br /> <br /> (d) If employed, the name and address of the <br /> employer. <br /> <br /> (e) If a vehicle is to be used, a description of <br /> the same, together with the license number or <br /> other means of identification. <br /> <br /> (f) If any food product or substance for human <br /> consumption which is not prepackaged is in- <br /> volved, a statement by a licensed physician <br /> dated not more than 10 days prior to the fil- <br /> ing of the application, certifying that the <br /> applicant is free of contagious, infectious, <br /> or communicable disease. <br /> <br /> (g) The applicant shall be fingerprinted and photo, <br /> graphed; provided, however, that an applicant, <br /> or a .person or persons on behalf of whom an <br /> applicant is filing who are under the age of <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
