18 shall be exempt from the fingerprinting and <br /> p"~otographing requirements of this subsection. <br /> <br /> (h) A statement as to whether or not the applicant <br /> has been convicted of a felony, or of a mis- <br /> demeanor involving the violation of any munici- <br /> pal or county ordinance regulating or taxing <br /> any business, or of a misdemeanor involving <br /> moral turpitude. <br /> <br /> (i) In the event that a person, association, part- <br /> nership, corporation or other legal entity <br /> applies for a permit herein on behalf of <br /> another person or persons, the application <br /> shall contain, with. respect to such other per- <br /> son or persons, the information required by <br /> subsections (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) , (e) , and (h) , <br /> and comply with the requirements of subsections' <br /> (f) and (g) herein. <br /> <br /> Upon the filing of the application, the applicant shall <br /> pay a fee of $5.00 to aid in defraying the cost of <br /> regulation. <br />Section 5. Investigation: Determinations <br /> Upon receipt of an application pursuant to Section 4, <br /> of this ordinance, the Chief of Police shall initiate <br /> an investigation of the moral character and financial <br /> responsibility of the applicant and those on whose be- <br /> half he may have filed. In determining financial <br /> responsibility and moral character, the Chief of Polic~ <br /> shall consider any criminal record and the reputation <br /> of the applicant as determined by a check with the <br /> Better Business Bureau, or any other reputable informa- <br /> tion dispensing agency. <br /> Within three days of the initiation of his investiga- <br /> tion, and as a result of said investigation, the Chief <br /> of Police shall make one or another of the following <br /> determinations, and shall notify the applicant thereof <br /> immediately: <br /> <br /> (a) To deny to applicant a permit if he finds <br /> that the moral character and financial <br /> responsibility of the applicant is unsatisfac <br /> tory in that the applicant has been convicted <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
