Task 4.0 - Assumptions 1. Topographic survey, geotechnical investigations, potholing and other field investigations are not included in this scope of work. 2. The CEQA documentation is not included in this scope of work. 3. City will review all major deliverables within 3 weeks of CONSULTANT submitting the Draft deliverable. 4. Final design is not included in this scope of work. 5. The CONSULTANT will develop 10% level drawings in AutoCAD of the Well 5, 6, and 8 PFAS Treatment and Rehabilitation Project. 6. Meetings and workshops will be conducted virtually during the course of the Project under this task. Task 5.0 — PFAS Process Design Confirmation Testing This task will include bench -scale testing with City groundwater to provide the data to more accurately estimate site-specific media replacement frequency, refine O&M and life cycle cost estimates, and could be used as a basis to pre-screen the effectiveness of tested media. This task will be performed in parallel with the other tasks listed above. CONSULTANT shall perform a total of five (5) Rapid Small Scale Column Tests (RSSCT) using GAC and/or IX media using raw water from a single well. In addition to source water characterization, up to five (5) effluent PFAS samples (EPA 537.1) will be collected from each column to characterize breakthrough of these compounds. It is assumed that all columns will be run utilizing the same batch of water supplied by the City. Task 5.0 - Deliverables 1. Bench scale testing results. Task 5.0 - Assumptions: 1.
