useful life and requires replacement. The CONSULTANT shall utilize its hydraulic analysis for new PFAS <br />treatment system to determine recommendations for pump replacement. Carollo's SUBCONSULTANT <br />Luhdorff and Scalmanini (LSCE) will perform a dynamic video inspection of the casing as part of this <br />Project. The CONSULTANT will review the video inspection and provide recommendations for any repairs <br />to be included in this Project. <br />Well 8 - The City operates Well 8 at a reduced capacity of 2,200 gpm because the well has historically had <br />problems with sanding. The original design capacity of Well 8 is 3,650 gpm. The CONSULTANT will <br />evaluate alternatives to remove sand, or modify the well operations, to return Well 8 to its design capacity <br />of 3,650 gpm. The evaluation will include planning level costs. Based on the results of the evaluation, the <br />City will determine whether to design Well 8 and related PFAS treatment for the original design capacity or <br />the reduced capacity it is currently operated. The CONSULTANT will also review casing video inspections <br />from 2013 to determine any recommended improvements. <br />Carollo's SUBCONSULTANT Luhdorff and Scalmanini (LSCE) will assist Carollo will the investigations <br />described under this task. LSCE's detailed scope of work is attached as Attachment 1 to Exhibit A. In <br />general, LSCE's scope of services includes the following: <br />Well 5 Support Services <br />0 Historical data compilation and review <br />• Review Well 5 video. <br />• Provide Letter Report summarizing well video analysis and provide recommendations <br />Well 6 Support Services <br />• Historical data compilation and review <br />• Oversee video of Well 6. <br />o This task assumes a static and dynamic test will be performed and it is not required to <br />remove the pump. <br />o LSCE to sub -contract well video contractor <br />• Water quality sampling (TDS, Sand, Turbidity and Bacteria) <br />o LSCE contract directly with analytical lab <br />• Provide letter report summarizing well video analysis and provide recommendations <br />Well 8 Support Services <br />• Historical data compilation and review <br />• Review 2013 Well video.
