o LSCE to sub -contract well video contractor <br />Water quality sampling (TDS, Sand, Turbidity and Bacteria) <br />o LSCE contract directly with analytical lab <br />LSCE will provide a letter report summarizing well video analysis and provide recommendations and attend <br />workshop. The CONSULTANT shall conduct a workshop with City staff to present findings and <br />recommendations. <br />Task 3.2 - Chemical Facilities Evaluation and Sizing <br />Following Task 2, the CONSULTANT will evaluate chemical selection (e.g., calcium hypochlorite or sodium <br />hypochlorite), storage options (e.g. onsite generation or bulk storage), dosing options, and control strategies. <br />The evaluation shall include a pros/cons analysis that includes costs, ease of implementation (i.e., permitting, <br />construction, etc.), ease of operation, and effectiveness/reliability based on actual installs. <br />Several of the existing chemical facilities at Well 5/6 and 8 have reached the end of their useful life. The <br />CONSULTANT will coordinate with City to agree which of the existing facilities should be repurposed or <br />demolished to support the chemical facilities. <br />The CONSULTANT shall conduct a workshop with City staff to present findings and recommendations. <br />Task 3.3 Well 5, 6 and 8 Recommended Improvements <br />The CONSULTANT will identify improvements to the Well 5, 6, and 8 facilities organized by discipline. The <br />improvements will consider modifications to mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation systems, <br />building structural, and overall facility to improve safety and operations and maintenance of Wells 5, 6, and 8. <br />The improvements will also evaluate reconfiguring use of the Well 5/6 and Well 8 buildings to separate <br />electrical equipment from the process environment and other safety related improvements. <br />The CONSULTANT performed a condition assessment of Well 5, 6, and 8 during the Water Quality Evaluation <br />Project. The previous work will be incorporated into the Well 5, 6 and 8 improvements analysis. <br />The CONSULTANT shall conduct a workshop with City staff to present findings and recommendations, and <br />select improvements to be integrated into the following Task 4. <br />Task 3.0 - Deliverables <br />1. Well analysis workshop agenda and minutes. <br />2. Chemical facilities evaluation workshop agenda and minutes. <br />3. Well 5, 6, and 8 recommended improvements workshop agenda and minutes. <br />Task 3.0 - Assumptions: <br />1.
