XIV. PROVISIONS OF EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> OPERATOR shall provide emergency services at the CITY's request in the event of major <br /> accidents, disruptions, or natural calamities in a manner consistent with the services and <br /> procedures identified in its Emergency Operations Plan. Emergency services may include,but are <br /> not limited to, assistance providing trips to people with disabilities and seniors from known <br /> Pleasanton locations such as skilled nursing facilities and assisted living locations. OPERATOR <br /> shall be capable of providing emergency transportation services within two (2) hours of <br /> notification by the CITY or as soon thereafter as is reasonably practical in light of the <br /> circumstances. Emergency services, which exceed the OPERATOR's obligations, shall be <br /> compensated at a rate of$50 per hour.Hours must be reported separately from the monthly invoice. <br /> If OPERATOR cannot provide the requested emergency services,the CITY shall have the right to <br /> take possession of the vehicles and necessary equipment for the purposes of providing emergency <br /> services as declared by the CITY. <br />
