ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> 4). TERc <br /> CM SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The following Construction Management scope of services is anticipated for the contract to be executed <br /> with TRC and The City of Pleasanton for the Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program, Federal Project <br /> No. BPMP 5101(029). The project work will adhere to the latest Caltrans Construction Manual. This list <br /> of tasks is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, anticipated tasks include: <br /> Preconstruction Phase: <br /> • Review plans and specifications. <br /> • Prepare independent baseline CPM schedule. <br /> • Plan, schedule and attend pre-construction conferences. Take and distribute accurate and <br /> complete minutes. <br /> • The Consultant shall set up a comprehensive project control system for the project. <br /> Construction Phase: <br /> • The Consultant shall maintain a comprehensive project control system for the project. <br /> • The Consultant shall manage project coordination. <br /> • Attend and administer construction progress meetings. In performance of this activity, the <br /> Consultant shall prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes,and implement a system to track <br /> key project activities and action items during the course of entire project. <br /> • Review the contractor's baseline CPM schedule for conformance to the specifications, logic, <br /> task definition and duration, critical activities, float, submittal review, material procurement, <br /> and coordination with other contracts. Review monthly updates including schedule, variance <br /> reports, cash flow reports, and material status reports. Attend meetings with the contractor to <br /> resolve disputes. Identify the potential future conflicts or change orders or claims. <br /> • Submit recommendations on construction issues, which include considerations of time and <br /> budget impacts, possible compensable delays, and possible mitigations. <br /> • Coordinate, schedule, and perform inspection services necessary to monitor and inspect the <br /> methods, workmanship, and materials used by the contractor is following the <br /> contract documents. <br /> • Maintain Inspector Daily Reports of all construction activities, contractors, subcontractors, <br /> including visits, meetings, progress, manpower, equipment, weather, delays, and material <br /> deliveries. <br /> • Coordination with all necessary regulatory agencies. <br /> • Maintain a claim file for any issue that may result in a claim for additional time or costs.The <br /> Consultant must immediately notify the City of all such claims or potential claims. The claim <br /> file must include all correspondence and meeting minutes, and must include"what if" <br />
