THE CITY OF
East Pleasanton Specific Plan _ , _ _,.r ;,,
Public Comments pLEASANTONC
From:Janice Cain
Sent:Tuesday, December 03, 2019 9:24 AM
To: Mayor and City Council <citycouncil@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Subject: EPSP
Dear Mayor Throne and Council Members,
We are very sadden to learn of the move of the council to go forward with a variation of the 2015
EPSP. We were firmly in opposition to the plan in 2015 and pleased the idea was tabled at that time. I
(Janice) attended the council meeting at that time, but was not allowed the opportunity to speak.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend tonight.
We are concerned regarding, at minimum, the following:
Urban Sprawl
Impact on our city infrastructure
Traffic
Pollution
Please do not make judgement of such an important issue within the confines of the council. This issue
must be thoroughly debated and brought to the voters that will be impacted by this enormous plan to
change the quality of life in our city.
The citizens of this city trust you to make good decisions that will benefit the residents, not ruin our city
by allowing this development! .
Janice and Gary Cain
-Palmer Drive
Pleasanton, 94588
Provided to City Council for the February 18, 2020, Meeting 42
