Mitigation Measure <br />17 c( 1) is identical to Mitigation lSe and the fmdings thereunder are incorporated by <br />reference. <br /> <br />b. Mitigation Measure J7c(2) will be implemented through Master PUD <br />Condition 56( e) requiring appropriate dimensions and signage for bicycles at traffic <br />circles. <br /> <br />17. ImDact J7d. Potential for conflicts between free-flowing vehicular traffic at the <br />Bernal Avenue ramps to/from 1-680 and bicycle/pedestrian traffic on the Bernal Avenue <br />bike lane! sidewalk. <br /> <br />Mitil!ation Measures: <br />Measure J7d(l). Direct pedestrian movements to one side of Bemal Avenue only to <br />minimize crossing of freeway ramps. <br /> <br />Measure J7d(2). Construct dual right-turn lane freeway ramps to include a signalized <br />"demand-activated" crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists. <br /> <br />Measure 17d(3). During interchange redesign, consider designs that direct bicycle traffic <br />to use sidewalks through the Bernal Avenue interchange. <br /> <br />Findinl!: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br />which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the <br />Final EIR to a less than significant level. <br /> <br />Facts in SUpDort of Findinl!: The impact will be avoided or reduced based on the <br />following: <br /> <br />a.
