Map of 500-foot buffer around public parks and public recreation facilities STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Planning Commission take the following actions: 1. Find that the proposed amendments to the Pleasanton Municipal Code are categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). 2. Adopt a resolution recommending approval of various amendments to the Pleasanton Municipal Code establishing limitations on tobacco sales at various locations within the City, including addition of a new Chapter 18.109 Retailers of Tobacco Products and Paraphernalia and amend Sections 9.24.020, 18.40.030, 18.44.080, 18.48.130 and 18.48.140 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as shown in Exhibit A, Attachment 1 and ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL AGENDA AMENDMENTS CONSENT CALENDAR - Consent Calendar items are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion unless a request for removal for discussion or explanation is received from the Planning Commission or a member of the public by submitting a speaker card for that item. 1.
