CITY OF PLEASANTON CLIMATE ACTION PLAN UPDATE <br /> Matt will lead all CEQA review and reporting elements in Task 12. <br /> Britain Richardson I Strategy Analyst & Writer <br /> Britain specializes in sustainability data analysis, model/metric development,and strategic <br /> planning,with an emphasis on clearly presenting data to facilitate informed decision-making.She <br /> recently developed a greenhouse gas emissions model to quantify future reductions achievable <br /> s _ with proposed policy measures for King County(WA) and is currently working with the City of <br /> Bellevue (WA)to lead analysis and prioritization of sustainability strategies for its Environmental <br /> Stewardship Initiative update. Britain brings a rare ability to lead both quantitative and qualitative <br /> analyses—and bring them together to coax out conclusions and strategies that are clear and <br /> effective. Before joining Cascadia, Britain led sustainability management work for Organic Valley,a <br /> "‘• national farmer cooperative. Britain holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from <br /> the Yale School of Forestry& Environmental Studies. <br /> Britain will support strategy development and evaluation, implementation planning, and the <br /> drafting of the updated Climate Action Plan. <br /> Matthew Anderson I Emissions Analyst <br /> Matthew is a Sustainability Associate with Rincon's Sustainability Services Group; he specializes in <br /> greenhouse gas inventories and climate action planning and implementation. His responsibilities <br /> include developing ICLEI-compliant emissions inventories for use in CEOA tiering documents and <br /> CDP reporting, as well as helping clients develop climate action plans to achieve SB 32 and carbon <br /> neutrality targets. His experiences include county-level greenhouse gas inventories,GHG and air <br /> quality CEQA project analyses, multiple climate action plans,and sustainability plan <br /> implementation with an emphasis on working with municipal governments. Matthew has <br /> contributed to climate action plans for public agencies across California—including Dublin, <br /> ,t ° Sacramento, Emeryville,and the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative—and has conducted <br /> t GHG inventories for clients including Albany,Sacramento, Emeryville,and Piedmont. He offers <br /> ` y additional experience helping procure grants for climate action and sustainability projects. <br /> Matthew holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin. <br /> Matthew will support the GHG analysis,forecasting, and target-setting elements in Tasks 3-5 and <br /> will assist with CEQA documentation in Task 12. <br /> RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br /> Together,Cascadia and Rincon offer decades of collective experience managing innovative and ambitious climate <br /> action planning processes for local governments throughout California and beyond.
