<br /> .,, ,- Julia serves as the Co-Director of Cascadia's Oakland office and brings more than 12 years of
<br /> experience in project management, outreach and engagement,training and meeting facilitation,
<br /> and policy research on environmental issues.Julia currently serves as the Deputy PM and
<br /> Engagement Lead for the City of Albany's climate planning process and recently supported the
<br /> +t Midpeninsula Open Space District in creating its first climate plan. Previous experience includes
<br /> 11 designing and implementing sustainability best practices for the corporate and government sectors
<br /> ' and leading workshops for over 1,000 employees.She has a M.A. in Communications from
<br /> University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Environmental Policy& Planning from UC Davis.
<br /> .4, Julia will assist with local project management, coordinate the internal team, and lead development
<br /> and implementation of the community engagement plan, hearings, and workshops in Tasks 2, 13,
<br /> and 14.

<br /> Ryan is a project manager and environmental scientist with Rincon's Sustainability Services Group.
<br /> Pia
<br /> He has developed numerous Climate Action Plans and Sustainability Master Plans and has
<br /> extensive experience in GHG reporting and audits, life cycle analysis, green building strategies,
<br /> "� carbon accounting,and sustainable infrastructure. His other responsibilities include GHG and
<br /> sustainability reporting, LEED certification,energy audits, and policy development. He has led or
<br /> contributed to climate action plans for San Luis Obispo,Atascadero,Arroyo Grande,Grover Beach,
<br /> Pasadena,South Pasadena, and the Peralta Community College District, as well as numerous GHG
<br /> 4 emissions inventories, energy studies,environmental impact reports, and public outreach and
<br /> education programs. Ryan holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management with a focus
<br /> ' in Energy and Climate from UCSB and a B.A. in Biology from Kalamazoo College.

<br /> Ryan will lead the peer review of Pleasanton's past GHG inventories, evaluation of GHG reduction
<br /> progress, and forecasting and goal-setting in Tasks 3-5. He will also lead the development of model
<br /> resolution/ordinance templates in Task 9.
<br /> Matt Maddox I CEQA Lead
<br /> Matt serves as a Principal within Rincon's Environmental Planning and Sustainability Group. In this
<br /> capacity, he is involved in a wide range of urban planning and land use studies,sustainable design
<br /> t,,, review,air quality and greenhouse gas analysis,CEQA/NEPA environmental documentation,as well
<br /> as community involvement and permitting activities. Matt has a strong background in
<br /> environmental management, policy, and environmental planning. He has contributed to successful
<br /> environmental and planning projects ranging from general plans to climate action plans,to
<br /> I sustainable design review and documentation for compliance with environmental regulations,to
<br /> I.,,.
<br /> greenhouse gas emissions analysis for various facilities under California's Cap and Trade Program.
<br /> Matt has developed a focus in the area of urban planning,sustainable design,and greenhouse gas
<br /> analysis. He holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from UCSB and a B.A. in
<br /> Akk Political Science from Cal Poly—San Luis Obispo.
