MOTION to approve the following meeting schedule for 2019/2020: November 18, 2019 (Monday and <br />location to be determined), January 22, 2020, March 25, 2020, May 27, 2020, July 22, 2020, September 23, <br />2020, and November 18, 2020 (3rd Wednesday, due to Thanksgiving Holiday). <br />Motion by: Brown Seconded by: Chang <br />Ayes: Brown, Cartwright, Chang, Daggy, Green, and Liu <br />Absent: Gan <br />Terry Chang indicated that she would not be able to attend the March 25, 2020 meeting. It was noted that the meetings will most likely be once a month initially in order <br />to hire a consultant and get the kick off activities started. <br />Ms. Green indicated she was trying to secure one of the air scientists from the Livermore Lab to participate <br />on the committee and provide some technical support. <br />MOTION to nominate Laurene Green to serve as an alternate on the Tri -Valley Air Quality Community <br />Alliance. <br />Motion by: Chang Seconded by: Brown <br />Ayes: Brown, Cartwright, Chang, Daggy, Green, and Liu <br />Absent: Gan <br />Ms. Green indicated she was interested in getting this group started and wouldn't mind be an alternate, <br />however, if anyone else is interested in the future, she would eventually like to remove her involvement. <br />6. Climate Action Plan (CAP) Update <br />Following the California Air Resources Control Board (CARB) demonstration of its electric lawn and <br />garden equipment, Pleasanton's Parks Division had the equipment for two weeks to tryout. Unfortunately, <br />CARB picked up the equipment one week early, so not all the Parks staff could test the equipment and its <br />various uses. However, staff provided the following feedback: The Husgvarna handheld blower and <br />backpack battery handheld blower were used, and staff said in general the equipment worked for a short <br />Energy & Environment Committee Minutes Page 2 of 5 <br />
