1/ _11 Of 0 To <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COMMITTEE ON ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT <br />September 25, 2019 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The regular meeting of the Committee on Energy and the Environment was called to order at 5:03 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Catherine Brown, Eric Cartwright, Terry Chang, Bruce Daggy , Lauren Green, Joel Liu, <br />Robert Gan (5:45 p.m.) <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />None. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />1. Approve the regular meeting minutes of July 31, 2019, with the following changes: <br />1) On page 1, public comment, add a $ to 3.2 million, <br />2) _On page 3, paragraph 2, add Ms. Campbell indicated that she would be keeping a running list <br />of all public comments pertaining to this project. <br />Motion by: Green Seconded by: Chang <br />Ayes: Brown, Cartwright, Chang, Daggy, Green and Liu <br />Absent: Gan <br />Mr. Cartwright inquired if the City was potentially looking to invest into electric lawn and garden <br />equipment as the old equipment needs to be replaced rather than waiting for the new regulations to be in <br />place. <br />Ms. Yurchak indicated that smaller equipment is included in the Operations operating budget and at this <br />time there isn't enough information to move forward if the electric equipment would be effective enough <br />with the feedback received from the Parks staff. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />2. Introductions / Presentations: <br />None. <br />Public Comment from members of the audience regarding items not listed on the agenda: <br />None <br />OTHER MATTERS BEFORE THE COMMITTEE <br />4. Set meeting schedule for 2019/2020 <br />Per Resolution No. 17-912, the committee shall hold its regular meetings every other month during its term. <br />Annually, the committee reviews its meeting schedule and makes any necessary adjustments due to holidays <br />or other potential schedule conflicts. <br />
