Location and Notification Map <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the Planning Commission deny the appeal, thereby upholding the Zoning <br /> Administrator's approval of Case P19-0130, subject to the Conditions of Approval listed in <br /> Exhibit A. <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The applicants, Nadia and Fayyaz Malik, propose to construct an approximately <br /> 480-square-foot second-story addition and exterior stairway, at the existing two-story home, to <br /> accommodate a new Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). Following public notice of the project, a <br /> Zoning Administrator (ZA) hearing was requested by the owner of the neighboring property to <br /> the west, based on concerns about the effects of the project on his light and privacy among <br /> other issues.
