Lions Wayside/DelucchiI Other Park Master Plan — Permitting Development of final design and construction documents for the parks master plan is pending state and federal permitting to underground the "channel" at Lions Wayside Park. Based on comments from permitting agencies, staff is developing options for the park improvements that do not require undergrounding of the channel due to the regulatory agencies' position that it will not be allowed. • Status Under Review • Next Steps/Details: At the January 2019 meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission, three potential designs were presented for discussion and review. Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation/Traffic Project Master Plan High Priority Corridor The Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, created in January 2010 was updated and adopted by City Council in June 2017. The update created an "All users and abilities" approach to facility design and provided a corridor construction priority. West Las Positas Boulevard was identified as the highest priority corridor and design is underway to develop bicycle and pedestrian improvements along the corridor. • Status Under Review • Next Steps/Details: Toole Design Group has completed draft corridor design options for West Las Positas. Option 1 uses standard buffered bike lanes and Option 2 uses a 2 way cycletrack along the south side of West Las Positas.
