' <br />L��S�4NTON© <br />SCOPE <br />The intention of this section is to ensure that all carpeted areas present themselves <br />well, are free from dirt and stains and have a well care for look at all times. <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Carpets shall be cleaned at a minimum of twice yearly unless otherwise directed by <br />city representative. Carpet extraction shall be performed with a truck mounted <br />hot water system with onboard recovery following industry standard <br />practices. Recovered water shall be discharged lawfully into a sanitary sewer. <br />Carpet extraction at the City Library, Civic Center, Civic Center Annex and Police <br />Department must be completed before 10:00 p.m. due to noise limitations of the <br />surrounding neighborhood. <br />All chemicals used in cleaning carpets shall be city approved before use. <br />Page � 56 <br />
