THE CITY OF FLOOR FINISH SPECIFICATION <br />,�,�� � <br />� � -.. m : m .�. <br />L� �S�NTON© <br />SCOPE <br />To provide ahigh-quality floor finish that will present a clean and neat appearance <br />to all that use our facilities. <br />DESCRIPTION <br />• Mechanically strip all old finish off of floor with approved methods and <br />materials. <br />• Confirm all finish has been stripped before applying finish. <br />• Rinse floor with clean water- Do not reuse contaminated water. <br />• Apply two coats of approved floor finish and follow manufacturers' <br />recommended procedures. <br />• Apply using proper applicator i.e. finish mop or Iamb's wool. <br />• Finish should be even in appearance, free from lap marks and "dry" spots. <br />• No finish shall be allowed on rubber base, base boards, or other materials <br />close to floor level. <br />Page � 55 <br />
