Due to severe crowning on selected tee surfaces there are limited flat areas needed to
place tee markers. The crowning limits maintenance staffs ability to distribute wear
evenly across the entire tee surface resulting in poor turf quality, reduced playability,
and increased maintenance. In order to increase playability, the existing tees on holes
#4, #6, #13, and #16 will be reconditioned. Tee reconditioning includes removal of the
existing sod, laser leveling the tee surface, removing unneeded spoils and re-sodding
with new grass. A similar renovation process will be performed on the wedding area in
order to expand the seating area. The scope of work to be performed by D.H.R.
Construction Inc. is detailed in the Contract for Contractor Goods/Services (Attachment
1). Work under this contract would begin August 5, 2019.
Submitted by: Fiscal eview: Approved by:
Kathleen Yurchak Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Operations Director of Finance City Manager
and Water Utilities
Attachments:
1.
