Teenagers using the slide at night can be a nuisance—a concrete slide would be less noisy. 19.Don't make the climb up too steep so that it is more kid-friendly. 20.Consider sand or rubberized surfacing at the bottom of the slide instead of engineered wood fiber. 21.Make the slide wide enough for adults to go down with their kids. 22.The design should consider a way to prevent bikes from going down the slide. 23.Option 2 is great for kids from 2-years old. 24.Don't install a plastic slide 25.Keep skateboards off the slide. 26.Provide bigger garbage cans that can be used to throw away the cardboard used to go down the slide. 27.Will option 2 look good in 15 years? It seems like it would be a maintenance challenge. 28.Consider a 3rd option with the dual slide, but the classic look to limit costs and maintenance problems. However, my family and friends love the slide and would be happy to give our input or hear about the renovation options discussed.
