Code §54956.9(a): Workers Compensation - Claimant Stephen Morgan ADJOURNMENT— The special meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m. REGULAR MEETING Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:05 p.m. Councilmember Brown led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne Absent: None 125TH ANNIVERSARY PRESENTATIONS In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Pleasanton, Mayor Thorne introduced Mark Duncanson who read the first City Council meeting minutes. Mallory Del Oro representing Congressman Eric Swalwell who shared a statement entered into the Congressional Record relative to the City of Pleasanton. Assembly Member Rebecca Bauer-Kahan and Judy Lloyd representing Senator Steve Glazzer who presented a Joint California State Senate and Assembly resolution recognizing the City of Pleasanton. Paul Stafner representing Supervisor Nate Miley presented a commendation in commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the City's incorporation. Lauren Hedges, High School Music Collaborative, performed a song she wrote, "Our Home" to commemorate the City of Pleasanton's 125th anniversary. It was noted she and Sophie Emma Wells created a music video. Director of Economic Development Pamela Ott shared the 125th anniversary summer of celebration activities.
