The preschool would have up to 120 children between 18 months and five-years-old and operate year-round. The proposed layout of the preschool is shown on sheet A1.2 of the attached Exhibit B. Each of the components of the proposed operation is outlined in the applicant's narrative (also in Exhibit B) and summarized in the "Preschool Operations" section of this report. Figure 3 summarizes the preschool schedule. Preschool Operations The proposed preschool would operate within the approximately 7,456-square-foot first floor with only the preschool staff/administrators utilizing the 7,000-square-foot second floor for office space. The preschool would operate between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays, with three daily sessions that have staggered drop-off/pick-up times: • Session 1, school-day: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. P19-0048 and P19-0049, 5950 Stoneridge Drive Planning Commission 3 of 10 one on Stoneridge Drive and one on Chabot Drive as well as shared access that allows circulation through the adjacent hotel property to the south.
