Agency Project Description Funding Source of Recommendation. Funds Tri-Valley Haven— Tri-Valley Haven Capital Improvements Project which $130,000 CDBG Capital Improvement Project involves improving Tri-Valley Haven facilities:the Capital Homeless and Domestic Violence shelters and Community Building.The project will improve facilities with a focus on energy efficiency and will include new windows,HVAC,roofing, lighting and solar panels.This is expected to be a multi-year project.The City of Pleasanton and City of Livermore will work together with the Tri-Valley Haven on this project. Tri-Valley Haven— Assistance and counseling with completion and filing of $12,400 Gen Fund Counseling&Temporary Restraining Temporary Restraining Orders,visitation and custody Order Clinic arrangements,and court accompaniment. Tri-Valley Haven— Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry;provision of food to low $15,900 Gen Fund Food Pantry income,homeless,and at risk persons through mobile and fixed distribution sites and referral to other community services. Tri-Valley Haven— Operation of Shiloh emergency shelter and domestic $22,000 Gen Fund Shiloh Domestic Violence Shelter violence services to women and children survivors of family violence, including crisis line assistance and referral services. Tri-Valley Haven— Operation of Sojourner House homeless shelter providing $37,000 Gen Fund Sojourner House shelter,homeless services(including counseling,case management,life skills classes,outreach and referrals). TOTAL: $533,672 City General Fund Allocation for Human Services In 2009, the City Council established a base allocation of $130,000 from the General Fund for the HHSG program to enhance funding for human services and adopted a policy to increase this allocation on an annual basis according to increases in the City's General Fund.
