SCOPE OF WORK Task 1.0 - Project Management Task 1.1-Project Administration Carollo Engineers,Inc.(Carollo)will provide project administration and management necessary to perform planning,execution, monitoring,and reporting of the Project.Carollo will prepare a monthly progress letter report for attachment to the monthly invoice to track and report status of budget expenditures and key work products completed during that billing period. Bi-weekly progress reporting via telephone conference call is included under this task. Task 1.0-Deliverables 1. Monthly progress reports and budget summary. Task 2.0-Assumptions 1. The project duration will be twelve months from the City issuing the Notice to Proceed. Task 2.0 - Meetings Task 2.1-Kickoff Meeting Carollo will prepare for and attend the Project Kickoff meeting to introduce key Carollo team members to City staff,acquaint all participants with the purpose of and expectations for the Project,and summarize scope and schedule.The kickoff meeting is also intended to be a working meeting and will be used to collect information from the City's operations staff and leadership to start working on the key project issues of the nitrification evaluation and the well assessment.We will submit a data request ahead of the kickoff meeting. The following bullets summarize what we intend to cover at the kickoff meeting but we are also open to discussing other subjects if preferred by the City: • Nitrification Evaluation:Carollo will submit a data request prior to the meeting.We plan to discuss and clarify our understanding of the City's problems with Nitrification in the distribution system. • Well Assessment:Carollo will present data gaps and begin discussions on one or more of the chemical system selections. Carollo's Project Manager will organize and lead the kickoff meeting.The kickoff meeting will be attended by City staff and key Carollo staff(assumes 4 team members). Task 2.2-Coordination Meetings with Zone 7 We understand the City intends to perform coordination meetings with Zone 7 to discuss water quality. Carollo will facilitate the meetings and key staff from Carollo will attend the meetings(assumes 4 team members).Carollo's nitrification evaluation task lead will attend the meetings via conference call. Carollo will request water quality data from Zone 7 prior to the workshops.The request will include raw water quality information at the points of entry to the City's distribution system,treated water quality from Zone 7's water treatment plants,and from Zone 7's wells.Carollo will review the raw water quality data prior to 2
