1.) West Las Positas Boulevard Corridor — highest ranked corridor in the Bicycle & <br />Pedestrian Master Plan. There will be two upcoming outreach events and <br />timeline to complete the W. Las Positas Corridor Plan is late Spring 2019. <br />Construction will commence upon design selection that will be brought to the <br />Committee. <br />2.) Santa Rita Road — goal is to begin a preliminary needs assessment for the <br />corridor before the end of 2019. <br />3.) Foothill Road Bicycle Corridor Plan along with Overcrossing Improvements — <br />approved by City Council in December 2018. <br />Foothill Road improvements identified will be addressed with Capital <br />Improvement Projects and/or development projects along Foothill Road. <br />The Freeway Overcrossing Improvements require additional analysis to <br />determine feasibility of the proposed improvements which should begin February <br />2019. <br />Mr. Nelson added that green bike striping was recently added to Owens Drive, Case <br />Avenue and the intersection of Hopyard RoadNalley Avenue due to an existing surplus <br />from a striping contract. <br />Mr. Tassano noted that these locations were chosen based on the top ranking in the <br />annual collision review and staff will continue to use this data to make bicycle and <br />pedestrian improvements. <br />Mr. Tassano noted that any recommendations to the City Council Priority Project List <br />should reflect the same project ranking from the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />5.
